Music composer duo Jatin-Lalit are one of the most iconic music composers of Bollywood. They’ve composed some of the most memorable albums of the 90s like ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, ‘Yess Boss’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge’ amidst more. The duo have worked on many films of Shah Rukh Khan.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Humgama, Lalit Pandit confessed that they had formed a team with SRK with back-to-back movies like ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’. Moreover, when they composed music for him, they took it as a huge responsibility. The composer added that Shah Rukh brought in a different visual energy to their songs.

The composer further revealed that from the very beginning that they started working on ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, they knew it would be a special album since SRK and Kajol were reuniting after ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, hence they worked very hard on it.
While Jatin-Lalit such a hit composer duo, they split after ‘Fanaa’ in 2006. But neither of them have spoken openly about the split. A while ago Lalit spoke about the split in an interview with indianexpress.com. He had said, that sometimes, one doesn’t have a choice but he understood the impact that the split would have on their careers. Though he was confident of proving himself if he got a chance.
