Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ has entered its fourth week now and the film is still doing better than newer releases like ‘Bhediya’, ‘An Action Hero’ and ‘Salaam Venky’, which released this Friday. The film had an extra-ordinary jump in the collections on its fourth Saturday and thus, has created a new post-pandemic record.

‘Drishyam 2’ collected Rs. 4.67 crores on Saturday. The film has beaten the record of ‘KGF Chapter 2’ whose collection was under 4.5 crore on its fourth Saturday, as per trade website, boxofficeindia.com. With that, ‘Drishyam 2’ has now entered the 200 crore club. It’s total collection so far is 203.58 crores, as per the official figures from the film’s team.

Saturday was also good for ‘Bhediya’ and ‘An Action Hero’ since their collectons also saw a rise. But the last quarter of 2022 has clearly been about ‘Drishyam 2’ and how it’s dominated at the box-office. ‘Drishyam 2’ which also stars Tabu and Shriya Saran, can see a downfall in the coming with, as ‘Avatar’ will release on December 16, followed by ‘Cirkus’ on December 23.
