This week’s new releases ‘HIT: The First Case’ and ‘Shabaash Mithu’ are seeing no luck at ticket windows. Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s action thriller ‘HIT’ that had a poor start on Day 1 witnessed an upward trend, but not strong enough to become a reason to celebrate. The Day 2 box office collection of the film went up by 65% and it collected a little under Rs 2 crore nett, reports Box Office India, taking the total collection of the film at around Rs 3 crore nett. The Sunday business is not expected to be great either, so the film might end the weekend with a collection of around Rs 5.50 crore nett which is even less than ‘Khuda Haafiz 2’ that released last week.

On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu’s sports drama ‘Shabaash Mithu’ was way worse than ‘HIT’ as it witnessed minimal growth on Saturday. The film collected around Rs 55 lakh on Day 2 and the total collection of the film now stands at around Rs 95 lakh approximately.

Speaking to ETimes recently, Taapsee Pannu admitted that she’s had enough of sports films. “I want to take a break from sports-related films, because it is taking a mental toll on me. I literally have no life beyond training and shooting. I wake up early in the morning, go for two hours of training and go shoot another film for 12 hours. I am forced to sleep as soon as I am back, otherwise I will not get enough sleep to be ready for the next day. I have been living this life for two years and it is taking a toll on me,” she had said.
