Hrithik Roshan recently joined the bandwagon of celebrities who have showered praise on Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’. The Bollywood superstar took to his Twitter handle to share his experience of watching the much-talked about film.

Check out his tweet here:

Hrithik wrote, ‘Learnt so much by watching #Kantara. The power of @shetty_rishab’s conviction makes the film extraordinary. Top notch storytelling, direction & acting. The peak climax transformation gave me goosebumps 🤯 Respect & kudos to the team.’

In a recent interview with a news portal, Rishabh spoke about decking up as Panjurli both at the beginning and at the end. According to the actor, he was scared of two sequences: the kola at the beginning and at the end. He stated that it was difficult because he was wearing the attire, which was about 50–60 kg heavy. Visually, everything was planned, but Rishab was sceptical about how the audience would receive it.

In another interview, Anurag Kashyap warned Rishab Shetty not to make the same mistake as Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Sairat’. Kashyap said that the success of Marathi film, ‘Sairat’ made people realise that there is a possibility to make so much money. According to him, suddenly Umesh Kulkarnis and everybody else stopped making those films because they wanted to emulate ‘Sairat’.

Anurag went on to add that if Rishab Shetty starts changing the way and begins making big-budget movies with an eye on the box office then that will be a problem. According to him, the approach to the film has to be the same.
