“Jacqueline is not a part of this case, she does not need to worry, I am there to protect her,” Sukesh told the court, as reported by India Today.
Earlier, when Sukesh was being escorted out of a Delhi court by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), he told a reporter to wish Jacqueline a happy Valentine’s Day after being quizzed about his relationship with the actress.
When he was informed that Jacqueline had said that he used her, Sukesh had replied, “I don’t want to comment anything about her. She has got her reasons to say. I don’t want to say anything about her. When you love someone, you try to protect them.”
In her statement, Jacqueline had said that Sukesh played with her emotions and made her life hell. The actress has been named as an accused by the Enforcement Directorate in their chargesheet in a money laundering probe related to the scam.
