NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids at Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav‘s residence in Delhi, in connection with alleged land for jobs scam. This comes days after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned his parents Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad separately in the case.
Searches are also under way at mutliple locations in Bihar and other locations, including premises of Lalu Prasad’s daughters and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders, in connection with the money laundering investigation into the land-for-jobs scam case.
The CBI has filed a charge sheet in the case against Lalu, Rabri and 14 others under charges of criminal conspiracy and provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, and all the accused have been summoned on March 15, officials had said.
