Shah Rukh Khan‘s Pathaan has been on a record-breaking spree ever since it hit the screens worldwide on January 25. The Siddharth Anand directorial, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has maintained a strong hold despite new releases. The movie is now inching closer to the Rs 1000 crore mark globally.
Thanks to the flat Rs 110 flat offer on Friday and Rs 200 flat offer on weekends, Pathaan has witnessed increased footfalls into theatres. It may not have boosted the film’s collection to a great extent but the audience seems to be loving the film and giving it a repeat value.

On its fourth Friday, the movie collected Rs 2.20 crore while on Saturday, it minted Rs 3.25 crore, thus, taking its total collection to over Rs 493 crore nett in Hindi. It has already managed to cross Rs 500 crore mark thanks to its combined collection of Tamil and Telugu versions taking its total to over Rs 511 crore.

Pathaan has also been dominating the overseas market. It has already grossed Rs 981 crore worldwide and going by the ongoing buzz, the movie is likely to breach Rs 1000 crore mark with its unprecedented run at the box office.
