Over the years, Ranbir Kapoor may have buried the hatchet with many of his ex-girlfriends, but his public image of being a ‘casanova’ and ‘cheater’ was hard to shake off.

The actor, who is awaiting the arrival of his first baby with his wife, Alia Bhatt, recalled the time his public and professional image was affected by gossip about his private life. Admitting that he hears all the rumours about him with a pinch of salt, he said to Bollywood Bubble, “I became the poster boy of a casanova, of a cheater. People have heard somebody’s perspective, somebody’s point of view, and they haven’t heard mine.”

Those expecting the hunk to spill his side of the story will be disappointed to hear, “I don’t think they’ll ever hear it also. It’s fine. I am here to be an actor and that’s all I want to do.”

In his interview with the portal, the actor was asked if he felt like he was judged for his personal life and relationships. To this, he said, “I am an actor, people can say anything about me. They can say something good, they can say something bad. But eventually what matters to me is that they must like my movies so my focus, my hard work, and my energies are only towards making a good film and it really doesn’t bother me if somebody bi**es about me if anyone says anything bad about me. It doesn’t boil my blood.”

Ranbir has been on a promotional spree ahead of the release of his film ‘Shamshera’. The actor is expected to make many more such public appearances as he gears up for the release of ‘Brahmastra’ which will see him share screen space with Alia for the first time. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in lead roles.
