Ranveer Singh recently attended an event where he asked Tata chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran about building a legacy, how to tackle the Hindi film industry’s current situation and more.

The actor said he is confused about his life choices. Ranveer added that he wants to build a legacy so that when he looks back he can say that he has contributed to the arts and entertainment. The actor went on and asked if he needs to have a singular focus on trying to achieve that same thing or if he should have a balanced life – more time for himself, friends and family.

He then added that he has two personas, one who wants to singularly focus on doing one thing only and the other who thinks it’s good to lead a balanced life. Ranveer asked the Tata chairman a few words of advice on the same.

Natarajan Chandrasekaran said that he knows Ranveer has a long career ahead but he feels that whatever the actor wants to achieve, he has already achieved it. He went on and said, ‘you have already made a mark.’

The chairman also shared some wise words and said that focus doesn’t mean one doesn’t do other things.

Ranveer thanked Natarajan and decided to ask one more question on the current situation of the Hindi film industry – big movies not working at the box office.

The chairman answered that he has zero knowledge of the film industry. When Ranveer asked his advice to pass through this kind of situation in general, Natarajan said, “Tension nahi lene ka gyaan nahi dene ka.”

On the work front, Ranveer will next feature in Rohit Shetty‘s ‘Cirkus’ and Karan Johar‘s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
