Sharing the story behind it, Sudeep told a news portal that he was in Mumbai and Salman knew he was doing this film and showing the showreel to some companies. When he met him later, Salman had already heard from people and asked him to see the film. Sudeep liked it.
The Kannada star also added that Salman took a keen interest in the Mumbai market. He called his team to help them. Sudeep revealed that Salman even asked if there is any need for him to come and shoot for him. The actor told him the maximum he can do is present the film and nothing more. According to Sudeep, Salman and he are like brothers and their equation is beyond cinema.
Sudeep and Salman worked together in Prabhudheva’s ‘Dabangg 3’ which also starred Saiee Manjrekar and Sonakshi Sinha in key roles. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
